Condolence From: John and Sue Savolainen
Condolence: Our condolences to Scott, Karen and family on the passing of a wonderful lady. We had the good fortune to be next door neighbors to Doris and Don when we moved next door to them on Prince Street. Last month we had a brief opportunity to see her when visiting the nursing home and she was as spunky as ever. Always with a great sense of humor and quick wit she will be missed but always remembered.

Condolence: My dear Doris...we will miss you so much. I loved seeing you in the hallways at Lakeview Apartments just a few short months ago. You always had a smile and a friendly conversation. I also loved being in the beauty shop with you...we had some funny talks...and some serious ones also. You were so good to everyone and were so appreciative every year when I brought you your favorite beet salad. It was so nice when you ended up just a few doors down from my Mom at Eastwood and I was able to see you every day. You were one special woman. God sure did receive a special angel yesterday. My sympathies and love go to your family who loved you so very much. It was a pleasure knowing you...may you fly with the angels and always have that smirky little grin on your face. I will never forget you and every time I make a beet salad I will think of you :)
