The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Charles Ollila can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: William Crane
Condolence: I have such a vivid first memory of my cousin, Charlie. I can still see him standing on the bow of our grandfather's ski boat as it approached shore! It was as if he was surfing into the landing. Charlie's skill and balance made quite the impression on a young cousin. I would like to send my and my family's condolences to the extended Ollila family. Our thoughts are with you. We hope that great memories make this difficult time a little easier. Bill Crane, cousin, Dawn and Blythe Crane.

Condolence: I am very sorry to hear of your loss. My prayers go out to all of you. Charlie was a great friend and traveling companion. He and I did several trips out of the country and we always had a great time. He served as my tour guide most of the times!! He had a great sense of humor and was wise on many subjects. He even "coached" me on some financial issues. He will be sadly missed by all. I will never forget him. He will be in my heart always!

Condolence: My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I worked for Charlie in the bookstore at Suomi/Finlandia and always found him to be a great, funny person and enjoyed the time I knew him. He will truly be missed.
