Wallace Robert ‘Bob’ Wicklund, 75, of Humboldt Township, passed away Tuesday afternoon May 12, 2020 at his home.

Wallace was born March 7, 1945 in Detroit to Wallace ‘Wally’ and Marilyn (Trembath) Wicklund and graduated from Kimball High School, Royal Oak, Class of 1963. Following graduation, he earned an Associate’s Degree from Ferris State University, before serving honorably in the United States Navy as part of the Seabees during the Vietnam War. Following his service to his country, Wallace attended Wayne State University, earning his Bachelor’s Degree. He worked as a project engineer for Detroit Diesel for many years. Wallace and his wife moved to the family property on Casey Lake in 2013.

Surviving are his loving wife of 54 years, Sandra (Bliss) Wicklund; three sons: Kevin (Marlene), Rob (Lenell) and Darin (Kristen) Wicklund; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Steve Wicklund.

Following Wallace’s wishes, no public services will be held.

Sorry to hear of Bob's passing. We know you have 54 years of special memories together. So glad you and Bob got to fulfill your dream of building a house and retiring up at Casey Lake. Condolences to the whole family.
