Condolence From: Linda Trolla Fitzgerald
Condolence: I have lost so many family members. My brother Greg Trolla in 2014, my mother Donna Trolla, in 2015. But now my auntie Mary, in 2016. My cousin Phyllis Johnson was her caretaker, and my heart goes out to her. Lots of love and sympathy to all my northern family. Can't believe she is gone.

Condolence: To Mary's Family,

I was saddened to hear of Mary's passing and I wish to extend my sympathies to all.. The little time I knew her, she touched me with her heart and Italian love. My Dad, Dante, and her worked towards preserving our Italian Heritage and created a long lasting love and following of our culture. She was instrumental and making it happen. Thank you Mary. We will try to keep the traditions alive. Ciao

Condolence: My sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Miss Trolla. I was lucky to have her as a teacher in grade school in Wakefield and then throughout high school in Negaunee. Music and Miss Trolla are what I remember most of those years. She loved her craft and passed that love on to all she taught. She was a lovely, classy lady and I will miss her.

Condolence: I had the privilege of being a part of Miss Trolla's choral program from 7th through 12th grades. I'm so grateful that she was a part of my life as I learned much from her work-ethic, integrity, and benevolence. I'm saddened by her passing; however, I'm thankful she did not suffer during the last few months of her life and had much support from family and friends. Although I am unable to attend her church service today, I will be there in spirit. I have a feeling that St. Paul's Church will be overflowing with community support and love. This is what I will always remember about Miss Trolla: community support, love, and "paying it forward." Offering many prayers to her family, friends, and the community. Hugs--Sherri

Condolence: We met Mary and her dear niece Phyllis on a bus trip to New York a few years ago. We instantly connected and became friends through letters and cards. While on the trip we quickly learned how talented Mary was thru song. She had the entire bus group singing and laughing. At many of our stops Mary was always ready for fun and activity. At one stop she posed as a diva and looked so natural. She had everyone laughing. Mary had that "easy to get to know me" manner because she had enthusiasm for everything. We feel blessed to have know her. Our heartfelt condolences are extended to her family and good friends. Mary will be missed by all but NEVER forgotten!
