Amanda Renee Jordan, 34, of Forest Dr., Negaunee Township, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, July 9, 2015.
Amanda was born March 8, 1981 in Ishpeming to Charles and Bonnie (Mantyla) Jordan, was a graduate of Negaunee High School, Class of 1999, and was a lifelong Negaunee resident. She was most recently employed as a sales representative for Avon Products, Inc.
Amanda was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, Ishpeming. She was an avid reader and was especially partial to Stephen King novels. She also enjoyed watching old movies and loved spending time with her beloved niece. Amanda was a beautiful, caring soul and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her father; fiancé, Randy Stowe of Marquette and his daughter, Kylie Stowe; sister, Melissa Jordan of Negaunee Township; special niece, Ashley Chartre; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother Bonnie in 1995 and her grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, July 14th at Grace Episcopal Church in Ishpeming. Interment will take place in Northland Chapel Gardens. The family will greet relatives and friends from 11:00 am until the time of services at 12:00 noon at the church on Tuesday, and also at a luncheon in the church hall immediately following the service.
