Condolence: There are few words that are adequate to describe Jim's kindness, caring or love of life. Anyone who knew Jim and the entire family knows that describes every member. Jim was still working at the prison, and he came to my house twice month to mow my grass because I let Tony put his car in my garage for the winter. I dare say, I was the far greater beneficiary of that. Jim would bring his mower do the grass and leave as quickly and quietly as he came. This is just a very small part of the impact Jim made on many lives. Kindness and good deeds for others; something that is almost extinct; but not for Jim or his beautiful family. I am a much wealthier person for having known Jim, Nancy and that wonderful family.

Jimmy is one of the kindest, friendliest, caring, and considerate people I have ever met. I remember Jimmy from Church, High School, and playing softball at the annual "hamstring pull" softball tournament, held during Pioneer days, in Negaunee.
I admire Jim for his courage and positive attitude in this dynamic, ever changing, life we live in.
