Obituary for GLEN RICHARD CAMPBELL Jr.
Glen Richard Campbell, Jr., 92, of Marquette Township, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Eastwood Nursing Center in Negaunee.
Glen was born April 22, 1930 in Brokaw, Wisconsin to Glen and Thelma (Weege) Campbell, Sr. where he attended school. He was a member of the Wisconsin National Guard.
Glen worked for Cleveland Cliffs Iron Company and retired from the Empire Mine as a Pit Boss.
Surviving are his son, Gary Campbell of Marquette; daughters, Sandra Lee Curnow of Marquette and Debra Jo Campbell of Ishpeming; his brother, Gerald ‘Jerry’ Campbell of WI; his sister, Clara Guenther of Wisconsin; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Shirley (Hazel) Campbell on Oct. 15, 2022; son, Larry Campbell; and a brother and two sisters.
Honoring Glen’s wishes, no public services will be held. He and his wife will be interred at Northland Chapel Gardens.
