Judy was an active donor for the Negaunee Senior Citizen Center and was a dedicated shopper on Sunny 101.9’s Shopping Show. She loved old country music, listening to Elmer Aho and Negaunee sports, cheering for her Green Bay Packers, watching her TV shows, reading magazines, scratch off lottery tickets and had an eternal sweet tooth. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are her daughter, Linda (Gus) Livermore of Negaunee; granddaughter, Ashley (Alex) Dobbs of Negaunee; her great-grandson, Leon Dobbs; cousin, Greg (Laurie) Budney of Milwaukee; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband David in 2011; her twin sister, Joan Hill, in 2019; and two brothers: Jerry and James Maki.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, January 18th at Marquette Hope, Mitchell Campus in Negaunee with Rev. Christopher Hintz officiating. Burial will be in the Negaunee Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends for one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday, and also at a luncheon in the church hall immediately following sevices. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in Judy’s memory to the Negaunee Senior Citizen Center.
