Obituary for ANTOINETTE F. WILLETTE
Antoinette F. Willette, 96, of Gwinn, passed away Sunday morning, August 28, 2022 at Brookridge Heights Assisted Living.
Antoinette was born November 27, 1925 in Ishpeming to Frank and Mary (Vanelli) Barbiere and graduated from Gwinn High School, Class of 1943. She married the late Louis A. Willette and they shared over 50 years together.
Mrs. Willette was employed with the Severance Tool Co. in Detroit, the H.W. Gossard Co. in Gwinn, and the Gwinn Embroidery Shop. She was an active member at St. Anthony Catholic Church where she belonged to the Altar Society.
Surviving are her daughter-in-law, Melody Willette of Marquette; grandson, Scott Willette of Marquette; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis, in 1996; her son, Louis, on May 30, 2022; three sisters: Mary Beltrame, Madeleine Del Bello and Annie Larsen; and four brothers: Sylvester ‘Frank’, Joseph, John and Dominic Barbiere.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, September 3rd in the Gwinn Cemetery with Rev. Allen Mott officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow at St. Anthony Catholic Church.
