Obituary for PAUL ARNE KAUPPINEN
Paul Arne Kauppinen, 75, of Mass St., Negaunee, passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, May 17, 2022 at UP Health System Marquette.
Paul was born September 5, 1946 in Ishpeming to Arne and Jeanette (Leanes) Kauppinen and graduated from Negaunee High School. Paul worked as an iron worker for several years, which allowed him to travel to various locations around the country.
In his spare time, Paul loved Harley Davidson motorcycles, classic cars, and music, especially his favorite band, The Rolling Stones.
Surviving are his children: Todd (Heidi) Kauppinen, Dr. Teri (Karen Wolin) Howes, Kyle Paredes, Kevin (Sarah Maisonneuve) Paredes and Meredith Winning; nine grandchildren; his brother, Michael Kauppinen; a sister, Karen (Gerald) Riekki; and a niece and nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Trevor Capogrossa; and sister-in-law, Kathryn Kauppinen.
Honoring Paul’s wishes, no public services will be held.
