In his spare time, Chuck enjoyed being outdoors, especially boating on Lake Superior and fishing, was an excellent cook, and was a skilled handyman. He and Marcia enjoyed maintaining their home and care taking for their beloved pets. They also were wonderful caretakers to Marcia’s mother following her illness. He was known for storytelling and his infectious sense of humor.
