Ronald John Baggiore, 85, of Ishpeming, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at his home.
Ron was born May 16, 1936 in Negaunee to Anthony and Jean (Heard) Baggiore and attended Ishpeming Public Schools. Following graduation, he honorably served in both the United States Army and United States Navy. Ron was employed by the Ford Motor Company in Detroit, retiring as a superintendent. He had also worked for New United Motor Manufacturing Inc. (NUMMI) in California as a maintenance team leader.
Ron was a member of the Ishpeming Elks Lodge #447 where he served as Exalted Ruler among other duties. He was also a member of the Shriners. Ron enjoyed being outdoors and hunting whitetail.
Surviving are his wife, M. Lavern (Edwards) Baggiore of Southaven, Mississippi; his son, Marquise Baggiore of Detroit; step-daughter, Karen Brown, and her daughter, Anecia Brown, of California; numerous other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Honoring Ron’s wishes, no public services will be held. Interment will take place in the family plot in the Negaunee Cemetery.
