Obituary for RUSSEL JOSEPH VALLIER
Russel Joseph ‘Buzzy’ Vallier, 62, of Sands Township, passed away peacefully in the care of his loving family Thursday afternoon, May 27, 2021 at UP Health System in Marquette.
Russ was born August 10, 1958 in Escanaba to James and Ruth (Norden) Vallier and the family moved to Negaunee when he was a young boy. He graduated from Negaunee High School, Class of ’76.
Russ was employed at Robbins Flooring in Ishpeming and most recently worked at Northern Window and Awning. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time outdoors; fishing and hunting. He was an avid sports fan and always kept his Mom up-to-date on the current games.
Surviving are his daughter, Paula Vallier of Iron River; mother, Ruth Vallier of Negaunee Township; brother, David (Linda) Vallier of Ishpeming; and many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, James, in February of 2019.
Honoring Russ’ wishes, no public services will be held. Interment will take place at Northland Chapel Gardens.
