Marjorie Louise Healey, 72, of Cherry St., Negaunee, passed away Monday morning, October 26, 2020 at her home.

Marjorie was born October 16, 1948 in Ishpeming to Arvo Sippola and Louise (Peterson) Vizena. Her father died just short of her fourth birthday, and she was raised by Louise’s second husband, Robert ‘Crow’ Vizena. She was a graduate of Negaunee High School, Class of 1966 and was a lifelong Negaunee resident. Marjorie married David J. Healey on May 3, 1969, and together they raised their two sons. She was employed locally at a number of medical offices as a receptionist.

Mrs. Healey was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Negaunee. She loved spending time at the Ishpeming Elks making pasties where she had numerous friends.

In her spare time, Marjorie enjoyed spending time with her husband and two sons. She was a Green Bay Packer fan and watched them often. Marjorie spent most of her free time at her family camp in Republic, where they had fires and often went for rides looking for moose, deer, and bear. She loved walking her dog Magee and going to Green Bay to watch over her grand dog, Duke. The holidays were a time she relished spending time with friends and family and spoiling them.

Surviving are her loving husband, David J. Healey; her father, Robert ‘Crow’ Vizena of Negaunee; two sons, Darrell (Gwen Magnuson) and Brian (Kelly) Healey; a sister, Gail Sippola; a brother, Daniel Vizena; a brother and sister in-law, Paul and Jackie Healey; brother in-law, Jeff Healey; numerous cousins, including Terry Basolo and Judy Wiig; and several nieces and nephews, with special recognition for Heather Vizena and Debra Coleman.

She was preceded in death by her biological father, Arvo Sippola; her mother, Louise Vizena; her father in-law, Joseph Healey; and mother in-law, Jeane Healey.

A private graveside service for Marjorie will be held at the Negaunee Cemetery.

I got to know Marjie through her sister Gail. She and Dave were always so nice. It is so sad to hear of her passing. RIP Marjie. Will always remember you. Deepest sympathy to David and family.

I was so saddened and shocked to hear of Marjorie's death. I would run into her almost every morning and every evening as she walked her dog Maggie and I walked my dog Buddy, as I live close by her. We would have short 'good morning' conversations and talk about our dogs. I noticed I hadn't seen her over the last few days and then saw her obituary. Keeping her family in my thoughts and prayers. I was so sorry to hear of Marge’s passing. We worked together years ago at Ishpeming Medical Center and still would get together for dinner and drinks. I’m going to miss her.

I am so incredibly saddened to hear of the passing of my dear friend, Marge. We worked together at ENT from 2004 to 2006 and became fast friends. Such a caring, kind lady. We used to joke that she'd have to check her "social calendar" first when we'd plan a lunch or dinner date, because she was just so popular! Marge was such a hoot!!! Oh, I will miss her greatly...as will all that knew her. Prayers to Dave & the Family
