Obituary for JACK ALLAN KATAJAMAKI
Jack Allan Katajamaki, 67, of Richmond Township, passed away Sunday afternoon, February 16, 2020 at UP Health System Marquette.
Jack was born September 19, 1952 in Ishpeming to Toivo and Ruth (Lindfors) Katajamaki and graduated from Ontonagon High School. He was a talented mechanic working many jobs throughout his career, including in the shipyards in Duluth and Sturgeon Bay, and for Cleveland Cliffs.
Jack was an active member and volunteer for the Richmond Township Community Club.
Surviving are his brothers, Terry Katajamaki of Marquette and Jerry Maki of Richmond Township; sister-in-law, Mildred Isaacson of Negaunee; his nephew, Steve Isaacson; and three nieces, Bonnie (Bill) Beale, Kim (Randy) Griesback and Jane (Mike) Subat.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Richmond Township Community Club on Sunday, March 15th from 3:00pm until 6:00pm.
