Patsy Ruth Creasy, 73, of Pine St., Negaunee, passed away unexpectedly Friday afternoon, December 20, 2019 at the University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor. She was surrounded by the loving embrace of her family as she went to be with her heavenly father.

Patsy was born March 13, 1946 in Beebe, Arkansas. After a life full of adventure, she chose to spend her final years in Negaunee to be closer to her children. She cherished her final home and was inspired by the beauty of the Upper Peninsula. She was also grateful for the kindness of her neighbors and those at the Negaunee Senior Center.

Famous for her cooking, her creative talent, and her beautiful gardens she leaves behind a legacy of kindness and caring. Above all else, Patsy was a mother that loved her children intensely. They will be forever grateful for the magnitude of her love and will remember the tremendous impact she had on their lives.

Surviving are her three sons: Jason Siik of Negaunee, David Siik of Los Angeles, and Matthew (Corie) Siik of St. Joseph, MI; her daughters, Kimberly Baber (Henry) of Chicago and Christine Daly of St. Augustine, FL; grandchildren Jack, Carter, Kinley, Chase, Henley, Haley, Aaron, Rayna, Kyla and Ayden; a sister, Linda (Ralph) Breitner, and adopted sister, Julie Fraley; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, Rufus O. Nealey and Lillian (Duffey) Nealey; loving husband, Dean Creasy; sisters, Phyllis Sisk and Donna Brangan; and brother, Sonny Nealey.

Honoring Patsy’s wishes, no public services will be held at this time, but rather a celebration of her life will take place this summer with her family. Her final wish to the world was for everyone to just be a little more kind to one another.

My wish, thoughts and feelings on Mother's Day for my Mother who is gone now from my earthly life but never gone from my heart and soul. I love and miss you Mom, forever.💝

A Mother's love is something that no one can explain. It is made of deep devotion, and of sacrifice and pain. It is endless and unselfish and enduring come what way. For nothing can destroy it or take that love away. It never fails or falters when all others are forsaking. It is patient and forgiving even though the heart is breaking. It believes beyond believing when the world around condemns, and it glows with all the beauty of the rarest brightest gems. It is far beyond defining it defies all explanations and it still remains a secret like the mysteries of creation. A many splendoured miracle Man cannot understand and another wondrous evidence of God's tender guiding hand.

Forever sadness in my heart without you.
Love, your Daughter

So shocked at the sudden loss of Patsy. We really enjoyed having her as our neighbor and felt an immediate friendship with her after she moved next door to us. She was very kind to us and very generous. We have a succulent plant from her that we will cherish and continue to grow in her honor. Our condolences to the entire family. We will truly miss her.
