I am so glad I had the chance to get to know you years ago. I enjoyed talking with you whenever we had a chance to. I always admired your determination to walk daily, and I never saw you that you didn't look beautiful! I had a chance to talk with you just a couple months ago in Walmart, the first chance I had in too long, but I will cherish that 15 minutes forever. You will be missed, Gerrie, and never forgotten. Rest now, my friend. My sincere condolences and prayers to the family. Nona L. Peterson-Uren.
