Obituary for JEFFREY SCOTT CRAM

Jeffrey Scott Cram, 54, of Midway Drive, Negaunee Township, passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning, March 13, 2019 at UP Health System in Marquette with his loving family by his side.

Jeff was born November 6, 1964 in Ishpeming to Robert and Jeannette (Haines) Cram and graduated from Negaunee High School, Class of 1983 and was a lifelong Midway Drive resident. He married his high school sweetheart, Crystal Hopper, on September 21, 1985 and together they raised two children. Jeff was a dedicated maintenance employee for 32 years for Negaunee Public Schools.

Jeff was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time at their hunting camp in Arnold. He was proud of his 1957 Chevy Bel-Air and was often seen cruising through town. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family at camp on Bass Lake; boating, parasailing and teaching his children and grandchildren to water ski.

Surviving are his mother, Jeannette; his loving wife of 33 years, Crystal; two children: Derrick and Alysha Cram, both of Negaunee Township; three beloved grandchildren: Lucas and Silas Ward, and Aydrien Cram; four brothers: Robert, Jr. of Green Bay, Ronald of Gwinn, Bruce (Vicky) of Gwinn and Donald (Kerrie) of Ishpeming; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father in 2014.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Negaunee Eagles on Saturday, April 6th from 2:30 pm until 6:00 pm with a memorial service to be held at 3:00 pm with Ron Cram officiating. A luncheon will be held immediately following the service.
