Obituary for DEANNA J. ALLEN (Stout)
Deanna J. Allen, 81, of Glendora Lane, Ishpeming, passed away peacefully Wednesday afternoon, December 26, 2018 at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility with her loving family at her side and under the care of UP Home Health & Hospice.
Deanna was born March 28, 1937 in Fremont, OH to Clifford and Luella (Arnold) Stout, and graduated from Ross High School, Class of 1955. She was a loving and devoted homemaker to her family.
Deanna loved her family and loved to travel with her husband to see them. They were loyal in following their grandchildren’s extracurricular activities wherever they were. In her spare time, she also enjoyed reading, oil painting, and an occasional trip to the casino.
Surviving are her two sons, Dr. Robert (Renee) Allen, Jr. of Allegan, MI and Lt. Col. (R) Gregory (NaYoung) Allen of Dexter, MI; a daughter, Lisa (Mark) Marana of Negaunee; 8 grandchildren: Mario Marana of Marquette, Mykka Marana of Traverse City, Kennan Marana of Negaunee; Kathryn Allen of Milwaukee, Jacklyn Allen of Grand Rapids, Jaimie Allen of Tallahassee, FL, and Shania and Sarah Allen both of Dexter; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 55 years, Robert C. Allen, Sr. on August 31, 2015; and five siblings: Robert, Bud and Gerald Stout, Marylou Robitski and Marlene Durnell.
Honoring Deanna’s wishes, private family services will be held. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery, St. Ignace.
