Condolence: Dear Jackie, Liz, Kathy & families,
It's very difficult to express my great sorrow on the passing of such a special friend & neighbor. Having known each other since high school, Nancy & I ended up raising our kids less than 50 ft away from each other. We saw them grow up, and we became mature adults along side them. There was a point in time where we played cards every night, alternating kitchen tables; I have memories of her pitching to her grandson in the side yard - and Bill saying, "That kid's gonna be a star;" and of course her lifelong constant great big smile. There are more memories to last a lifetime.
Because of Nancy, I know the meaning of the words "Backdoor Friends are Best."
My deepest sympathies to all.

I haven't seen your mom in several years, but what I remember most about her is her infectious smile and that great laugh. I don't think I had ever seen her without a smile on her face. I hope the memories you hold close to your heart will help to comfort you through the difficult days ahead. It's always hard to lose a parent, especially your mom, but know that she is watching over all of you. Heaven became a lot happier with her arrival.
