Condolence: To the family of Coke, We were saddened to hear of Coke's passing. We were both students of his at Champion High School. He and I (Candy) shared the same birthday and he made that day special by walking into the classroom and saying "Great people were born today". Condolence: Karen and I would like to express our condolence on the passing of Clarence. We only had the privilege of being his neighbor on Big Shag lake since 2013. He was a true friend during these summer months. I will give you a example; one day I had been working removing leaves from our adjacent properties and Coke came out to offered the use of his wheel barrel saying; you remaind me of myself years ago while working around the camp! What a great complement from a person so many people lovered and admired. We also loved hearing some of the tails Robert and Nita said about Coke around the fire pit at camp. Again our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Thomas family.

Condolence: My sympathies to the Thomas family. I am a Champion School alumnus...graduated in the 70's. I remember Mr. Thomas as a very nice man. I was absolutely touched when he sent us a sympathy card almost 6 years ago when our child passed away. I had not seen him in over 35 years, yet he remembered us at such a difficult time. This is a testament to his true character. God Bless your family.

Condolence: Cindy and I have fond memories of Coke as a teacher, fellow administrator, and friend. He lived a great life and shared his smile and warmth with everyone.

Condolence: My father, John "Pat" Nelson, was very close to Coke. Dad does not have access to the internet but if he did he would leave his condolence. Below is his favorite passage from the bible. Condolence: Coke was my favorite of all my Dad's cousins. Every year when we went up to Shag Lake and stayed with Uncle Haz and Aunt Lil (before we had our own place), Coke always came over and brought us kids inner tubes. We always felt so welcomed at his camp. He was a remarkable person and it was always so enlightening speaking with him because of his vast knowledge. He will surely be missed. To Coke's family, please accept my condolences and know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: Mr.Thomas was my favotite teacher during the late 50's at NMHS. He had a fantastic memory. When I would see him in various places over the years,he always would have a story to tell of our past relationship. My condolences to his family, may he rest in peace.
