Kristol (Howard) Simpson, 51, of East Main Street, Negaunee, passed away peacefully at UP Health System – Marquette on Monday morning, March 26, 2018 following a short illness.

Kristol was born November 14, 1966 in Ypsilanti, Michigan to Arthur and Carolyn Howard and graduated from Negaunee High School, Class of 1984. Following graduation, she attended Michigan State University. While in Michigan, Kristol was an active volunteer with the Ishpeming Fourth of July Parade Committee and worked for the Ishpeming Chamber of Commerce and WJPD radio, but later pursued her passion as a successful travel agent and agency manager in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas and Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Surviving are her husband of 27 years, John Simpson; her parents; her sister, Kathleen (Steve) Stein of Milwaukee; her brother, Matthew Howard of Negaunee; nephew Trevor and nieces Madeline and Samantha.

Honoring Kristol’s wishes, private family services will be held.
