AGNES NATALIE  MORRISETTE (DelBello)
Agnes Natalie (DelBello) Hicks Morrisette, age 103, of Austin Location, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, July 26, 2017 at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility with her loving family at her side and under the care of U.P. Home Health & Hospice.
Agnes was born March 25, 1914 in Austin Location to Lawrence and Maria (Grasso) DelBello, attended Austin and Gwinn Schools, and resided in Austin Location until moving to Negaunee in 1987. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother, and most enjoyed spending time with her beloved family.
Mrs. Morrisette was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Gwinn and belonged to the Altar Society. She was also a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Negaunee.
Surviving are her son, Arthur (Patricia) Hicks, Jr. of Negaunee; four grandchildren: Perry (Marcia) Hicks, Peter (Debbie) Hicks, Stacie (Mark) Hill and Jody Hill; 10 great-grandchildren: Brinn (Derek Kruppstadt) and Katie (Tony Ruesing) and Derek Hicks, Sarah Hicks, Leslie (Casey) Williams, Kimberly (Riley) Torreano, Lauren and Luke Hill, and Jake and Alexis Hill; her great-great-granddaughter, Olivia Torreano; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Arthur Hicks, Sr. in 1967; her second husband, Albert Morrisette in 1986; son, Paul Hicks; sister, Gena DelBello; and four brothers: Gabriel, Jacob, Bernard and Floyd DelBello.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, July 28th at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Gwinn, with Rev. Allen Mott officiating. Burial will be in the Gwinn Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends for one hour prior to Mass in the Baraga Room at St. Anthony’s on Friday, and also at a luncheon in the church fellowship hall immediately following Mass. Pallbearers will be Perry and Peter Hicks, and Luke and Jake Hill.
