The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Roy Talo can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Ken & Dolores Lucitte
Condolence: We have known Roy ( & Anita) for over 45 years. Even after they moved miles away we remained close friends. They both had a great sense of humor, and a lot of common sense and wisdom. There were many times that we would play pinochle and talk for 10 hours straight. We both feel that our lives have been enriched by having the good fortune of having known them. We will never forget them.

Condolence From: Raymond Opezzo
Condolence: He was a wonderful brother in law and in many ways the brother I never had. We had great times together on family picnics, working on projects around the house, attending sporting events or taking his beloved saunas. He was called to duty twice for his country and even served as an Air America employee in southeast Asia for the Central Intelligence Agency. Roy loved to sing and play his accordian, belting out old Finnish folk songs. He will be missed and never forgotten along with his wife, my beloved sister Anita Louise Talo.
